Stipend and Benefits

Residents receive a stipend of approximately $48,000 annually, an office space and a laptop computer with double monitors. 

Pharmacy Residency Benefits

  • Residents accrue vacation and sick leave
  • Six paid holidays
    • Residents will be required to staff one winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's) and one summer holiday (Memorial Day or Labor Day)
  • Ten vacation days
  • Four personal days

Health Insurance: Residents are eligible for KentuckyOne Health benefit packages. Plan options are discussed during hospital employee orientation. 

Professional Travel: Residents will be granted administrative leave with financial support to attend at least two conferences - the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and the Great Lakes Pharmacy Residents Conference. The purpose of attending there professional development meetings is networking and service to the profession.
