Diagnostic Imaging

Services Offered

X-Ray

Lets doctors see straight through human tissue to examine broken bones, cavities and swallowed objects with extraordinary east. Modified x-ray procedures can be used to examine softer tissue, such as lungs, blood vessels or intestines.

CT (contrast and non-contrast)

The CT scanner is a donut-shaped machine that uses advanced x-ray technology to take pictures of cross sections of your body, called "slices." CT can see inside the brain and other parts of the body that cannot be seen on regular x-rays.

CT makes it possible to diagnose certain diseases earlier and more accurately than other imaging tools. Some physicians recommend the use of a contrast material "dye" to opacity the internal structures in more detail.

DEXA Scan

Dexa stands for 'Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry.' It is the most commonly used test for measuring bone mineral density. It is one of the most accurate ways to diagnose Osteopenia or Osteoporosis.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a technique that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within your body.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound Imaging is another state-of-the-art diagnostic tool. It is a safe, painless procedure that bounces sound waves off internal organs and structures. There is no injection or radiation exposure associated with ultrasound.
