The Joint Academy at Saint Joseph Hospital is a pre-operative joint replacement class designed to prepare you for your upcoming surgery and provide you with the knowledge and skills to ensure your recovery is the best that it can be. It is a comprehensive class and is required for every patient. You will hear from our medical team including our Nurse Manager, Staff Nurse, Orthopedic Nurse Navigator, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Home Health Nurse Liaison and Health Coach.

Available every Wednesday and Friday - 9:30–12:00pm
Shoulder Replacement Class
Available every second and fourth Thursday 12:30-1:30pm
A Nurse Navigator is a registered nurse who is specially trained in caring for patients who undergo joint replacement surgery.
