KentuckyOne Health Cultural Competence Corner is a quarterly communication created by the Division of Diversity and Inclusion to provide information specific to the diverse populations we serve. Each Cultural Competence Corner publication provides health related information pertinent to populations, specific challenges and blind spots in health care delivery to the population, and recommendations for closing gaps in care. In addition to mandatory cultural competence education, the goal of the Cultural Competence Corner is to advance KentuckyOne’s efforts to achieve health equity and eliminate disparities.
