Jewish Hospital Shelbyville to Host 13th Annual Women’s Wellness Affair
Shelbyville, Ky. (April 16, 2018) – Jewish Hospital Shelbyville, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host the 13th Annual Women’s Wellness Affair on Monday, April 23, benefiting the hospital’s teen volunteer scholarships, administered through the Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Foundation. The event will take place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Claudia Sanders Dinner House in Shelbyville, located at 3202 Shelbyville Road.
Kate Springer, weekend anchor with WDRB News, will serve as emcee of the event. Josephine Mei, MD, Kentuckiana Pulmonary Associates, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Mei will discuss preventative screenings that women often overlook, and the importance of getting a good night’s sleep.
The event will include health education, wine and food tastings, massages, giveaways and prizes. In addition, hospital volunteers will recognize four local women for their contributions to promote health and wellness.
